Suddenly I was faced with comforting my daughter and helping her find the words to talk to her pal. What do you say to a 12 year old who lost her Mom?

Inspiration Everywhere and Not a Drop to Ink.
Do you struggle to find topics? Or start a post and dry up?
Inspiration is a funny thing, it’s rather like public transportation… you can wait for hours and then 3 come along at once. Are you making the most of your moments of inspiration – whenever they occur?
Reducing Static or Booking a Seat in Hell
December 1st was World AIDS Day and my optimistic self was very impressed to hear that many stars and celebs were quite literally ransoming their presence on social media to raise money for this truly worthwhile cause.
Are you Positive? The Art of Optimism
There is an old tale about the difference between an optimist and a pessimist… when two people fall off a 20 storey building, the pessimist is overheard to repeat “Oh Sh*T“ & “why me?”, while the optimist says “so far so good” as he passes each floor.…Of course this is just a joke …but are Optimists happier than Pessimists?

My GPS is mad at me….
My GPS is mad at me…I should say that she is mad at me again, since this is not the first time in our relationship. To make matters worse my family has programmed her with an accent similar to my own..
Following Childhood Dreams
I’m not sure if anyone dreams of becoming a cashier in the supermarket, doing bookkeeping or being a repair technician at the local tire store, maybe a few realists do but most of us have been encouraged to dream big. Sadly most dreams fade in the harsh light of financial necessity and merge into the background as the real world takes over.
