Going nuts cleaning house before the Holidays..

Since we are all running around trying to get our homes clean and presentable before holiday guests arrive, here is a seasonal tip to help.
You can disguise scratches on your coffee table or dinning table by rubbing a piece of pecan meat (that’s the nut not the shell) over the scratch in a gentle circular motion and buff in with a clean soft cloth. Walnuts work too. The oils from the nut blend the edges of the scratch mark ~ no need to color match unless your working on limed or whitewashed wood.
If you don’t bake or don’t have nuts about, a brown wax crayon can be used – make sure you use the correct shade though (no dark brown on light oak!)
